Product Manager — Developer Platform (GitHub)

Responsibilities

• Own the company GitHub organization as a primary developer discovery surface
• Curate code examples, maintain SDKs, and ensure clean repository hygiene
• Set the quality bar for documentation and repositories to ensure fast "first-run" experiences for developers
• Improve the end-to-end path from discovery to acquisition across GitHub and adjacent surfaces
• Instrument the developer funnel (find → acquire → build) and drive data-driven fixes
• Partner with engineering, content, and analytics teams to manage artifact lifecycles
• Engage regularly with the developer community to test assumptions and iterate on products

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management
• Deep experience with developer tools, developer experience (DX), or platform products
• High level of GitHub fluency, including Actions, releases, tagging, and Discussions
• Technical grounding in SDKs, code samples, and build systems
• Proficiency with product instrumentation and analytics
• Background in the embedded or silicon ecosystem (e.g., MCU, toolchains like STM32, ESP-IDF, or Nordic)
• Experience in open-source community building
• Familiarity with developer-portal frameworks such as Backstage
• Experience managing software distribution under licensing or export-control constraints
