About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with research, engineering, data science, and policy teams to embed safety throughout the development of frontier AI models.
- Develop comprehensive frameworks for understanding and mitigating deployment safety risks using data analysis and adversarial assessments.
- Define strategic priorities and product roadmaps focused on improving deployment safety and managing emerging AI capabilities.
- Create scalable methodologies, tools, and processes for evaluating and continuously improving safety systems.
- Establish repeatable processes to integrate cutting-edge AI safety research into product offerings.
- Develop and refine actionable metrics that capture safety performance and user experience at scale.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management or related industry experience.
- Expertise in AI safety, trust & safety, integrity, or related domains.
- Strong background in cybersecurity.
- Proven experience driving consensus and action in highly ambiguous environments.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep curiosity regarding interdisciplinary fields such as human-computer interaction, psychology, or philosophy.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
- Ability to identify and challenge underlying assumptions through structured, insightful questioning.
