Product Manager, Core Models

Responsibilities

• Translate user and product goals into clear model requirements, system architecture choices, and research priorities.
• Build closed learning loops that turn product usage and user signals into datasets, evaluations, and training priorities.
• Define success across offline evaluations and online product metrics, balancing quality, latency, safety, and cost.
• Partner with research, engineering, and data science teams to integrate new capabilities into the mainline model stack.
• Create reusable platforms for evaluation, experimentation, and signal collection to accelerate capability improvements.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in product management with experience owning technically complex products or platforms.
• Fluency in domains such as search, information retrieval, recommendation systems, or ML platforms.
• Experience working with large-scale data systems and model evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to pair offline evaluation with online experimentation and user signals.
• Strong technical depth to earn the trust of researchers and engineers.
• Ability to move quickly in ambiguous environments and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
