Responsibilities

• Define the roadmap for the first-generation TM system, transitioning from manual processes to AI-native and ML-driven detection
• Partner with Engineering to design scalable real-time risk engines with low latency
• Lead the ideation and launch of Rule Engines, Alert Management, and Case Investigation Workflows
• Act as the primary functional point of contact for customer requirements and solution implementations
• Design "smart" monitoring to reduce false positives
• Identify and build detection logic for emerging financial crime patterns like structuring and mule accounts
• Conduct pre-sales demonstrations and provide expert product consultations for prospective clients
• Troubleshoot and debug existing transactional monitoring systems and rule configurations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the transaction monitoring domain (pre-sales, product consulting, or client-facing technical roles)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization
• Ability to discuss APIs, webhooks, and system latency with engineers
• Strong analytical skills to identify and interpret evolving fraud patterns
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMS or CFE certification
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management and Agile methodologies
