Product Manager

About the Company

Boom is on a mission to level the playing field for the 110+ million renters in the US by making housing more flexible, affordable, and rewarding. Boom is building a suite of rental financial services for renters and property managers, including tenant screening, rent payment reporting, and integrations with the largest property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the product roadmap alongside the CPO, CTO, and CEO
• Own and report on key product and marketing analytics metrics
• Write business requirements, wireframes, product requirement docs, and release notes
• Serve as the primary interface with the design team
• Lead all product handoffs and releases
• Lead external product communication including feature launches, user guides, and API docs
• Support customer discovery and translate learnings into new features or product pilot sprints

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience with at least 2 years as a product manager
• Experience at an early stage venture-backed company
• Experience working with data (e.g., SQL or Redash queries)
• Experience working with Figma
• Strong writing and communication skills for PRDs and product releases
• Strong bias to action and ability to conceptualize and plan

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background or Computer Science degree
• Experience in fintech or proptech industries
