Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and drive a comprehensive product strategy and multi-year roadmap for Ares Secondaries
• Establish clear OKRs to track progress and impact, refining the roadmap based on stakeholder input
• Provide strategic direction across the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and iteration
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver differentiated software solutions
• Foster deep partnerships with Investment Teams, Operations, Controllers, and Technology to align on strategic goals
• Promote a unified product vision while accommodating business-specific nuances

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of product management experience
• 3+ years of Private Markets experience in Asset Management
• 3+ years of experience with eFront
• Experience in Fund-of-Funds or Secondaries
• Experience in green field engineering initiatives
• Strong understanding of SDLC, product design, and system design
• Knowledge of modern UI/UX best practices
• Understanding of GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, and streaming platforms like Kafka
• Experience using GenAI LLMs to accelerate ideation and content creation

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of the Alternatives Investment Lifecycle and associated systems
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Experience with Dynamo
