About the role
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy for DroneStack, defining the roadmap to transition from program-driven deliveries to a scalable, multi-customer product line
- Conduct primary user research with military operators in the field and abroad to understand mission planning and execution
- Drive the transition from bespoke programs to repeatable products by identifying patterns across customer engagements
- Shape product design and user experience for intuitive operator interfaces, including mission control and planning tools
- Partner with engineering leadership to set technical direction and balance near-term delivery with long-term architecture
- Develop and communicate a market thesis regarding the autonomous drone market across DoD and allied nations
- Act as the connective tissue between engineering, business development, and customers
Requirements
- 5–7 years of product management experience across diverse environments or industries
- Proven track record of end-to-end product ownership, from research and strategy to launch and iteration
- Experience working with complex technical systems (e.g., hardware/software integration, real-time systems, or infrastructure)
- Strong design sensibility and experience driving UX decisions for operational tools
- BS/BA degree in a technical or analytical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must be able to hold or obtain a U.S. security clearance

- Experience working with defense or government customers and understanding acquisition cycles
- Experience managing products that span both hardware and software
- Background in early-stage or high-growth startup environments
- Experience leading 0-to-1 product initiatives or founding a company
