Product Manager, Applications

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmaps, and positioning for user applications used with tactical waveforms and radios
• Perform market analysis and technical/business trade-offs for product concepts
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, and business development to ensure successful product execution and release
• Manage the full software life-cycle and ensure products meet functionality, performance, and cost targets
• Act as a technical evangelist to support business development and marketing efforts in military, public safety, and industrial sectors
• Support Bid and Proposal (B&P) efforts by writing whitepapers and technical proposals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, business, or a related field
• Proven experience in product management, user applications software design, or technical management
• Strong understanding of user applications and user experience (UX)
• Experience in software development life-cycle (SDLC) management
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Background in product development within similar tactical or wireless markets
• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (PHY, MAC, and networking layers)
• Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) architectures
• Experience with tactical user-facing software systems
