Product Manager, AI

About the Company

Nectar Social is building the AI-native social operating system to enable a new era of commerce. Founded by ex-Meta leaders and backed by GV and True Ventures, we work with brands like Oura Health and e.l.f. Cosmetics to converge community, conversation, and commerce.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development of AI-powered product features from discovery to launch
• Partner with engineering to build generative prompting systems and AI workflows
• Conduct customer research to translate insights into product improvements
• Define and track key performance metrics for AI-driven features
• Identify high-impact opportunities for AI in social engagement and personalization
• Write product specifications and iterate quickly in a startup environment

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience shipping software products
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
• Experience or strong interest in AI/ML, particularly generative AI or prompting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive projects in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
• Comfort operating in ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at early-stage or high-growth startups
• Background in social commerce, creator economy, or enterprise SaaS
• Familiarity with LLMs, embedding systems, or recommendation engines
• Experience building products for consumer brands or marketing teams
• MBA or exceptional academic/professional achievement
