Product Manager - Accounting

Responsibilities

• Own the Accounting & Finance Automation pillar by designing products that automate spend data management, financial accuracy, and compliance.
• Design end-to-end user experiences for accountants, controllers, and finance teams to manage corporate spend across 20+ countries.
• Identify high-impact automation opportunities and prototype AI-powered solutions to transform manual workflows into automated processes.
• Define the integration strategy for connecting Jeeves with ERP systems and accounting software like NetSuite, SAP, and Oracle.
• Conduct customer discovery through regular interviews with finance leaders to translate pain points into a clear product roadmap.
• Track adoption and impact metrics using SQL and data analysis to validate product hypotheses and quantify ROI.

Requirements

• You must meet one of the following profiles:
• Profile 1: CPA, CA, or accounting degree with 2+ years in accounting/finance operations plus 2+ years in product management or technical roles.
• Profile 2: 3+ years of B2B SaaS product management experience with a focus on complex integrations (ERP, accounting software, or financial platforms).
• Deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP and/or IFRS).
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis to drive product decisions.
• Hands-on comfort with AI tooling to test and evaluate model outputs.
• Strong understanding of system architecture and how data flows between platforms.
• Based in Latin America (preferably Mexico, Colombia, or Brazil) with an understanding of regional regulatory nuances.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with expense management, AP automation, or spend management products.
• Background in management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) focused on finance transformations.
• Experience building AI-powered features specifically for accounting or finance workflows.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
