Product Line Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities

• Align purchasing strategy with the REPS Product Line to ensure supplier cost targets, capacity, and footprints meet requirements
• Deliver BOM cost roadmaps to support price roadmaps and drive gap closure between "should be" costs and current pricing
• Develop strategic suppliers with competitive cost advantages and support early supplier selection for optimal concept designs
• Support the development of the 10-year Product Plan and 5-year Business Plan in collaboration with Engineering and Sales
• Conduct benchmark competitor analysis studies and drive execution of supply-based opportunities
• Work with Product Engineering on design-to-cost and design-for-purchasing activities
• Support Make vs. Buy studies and represent the Global Supplier Management function in product team meetings

Requirements

• 5+ years of automotive purchasing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to travel globally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
• Exceptional analytical skills for navigating complex situations

Preferred Qualifications

• REPS experience and knowledge of related commodities and cost drivers
• Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
