Product Lead

Responsibilities

• Display leadership, provide direction, and mentor a team of Product Designers, Researchers, and Visual Designers
• Lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse products, platforms, and devices
• Deliver a UX strategy in accordance with a Product Vision in a planned, evolutionary, and iterative fashion
• Build strong relationships with leaders in Engineering and Product Management to implement cohesive and inclusive user experiences
• Champion PhonePe’s values and design principles across the organization
• Advocate for users in a fast-paced environment, finding the intersection between design, business, and engineering

Requirements

• 10+ years of design experience
• 3+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing design teams
• Proven track record of designing simple to complex products, ideally in the consumer or Fintech space
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions clearly
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• BDes or MDes in design
