Product Lead, Perps

Responsibilities

• Own the perps product roadmap and maintain prioritized specs with engineering
• Define the UX for margin systems, liquidations, and funding rates
• Coordinate engineering and design resources to ship improvements end to end
• Audit trader complaints and support feedback to map to product gaps
• Write detailed specs for new features, including edge cases and error states
• Partner with engineering to set delivery timelines and break down ambiguous problems
• Monitor product performance and iterate based on trader behavior

Requirements

• Hands-on experience shipping trading UX improvements, ideally on perps or derivatives
• Deep familiarity with crypto trading mechanics (funding rates, margin systems, liquidation engines)
• Experience working directly with engineers and running sprints
• Strong product instinct and ability to propose fixes for broken workflows
• User-first mindset with a track record of making complex financial products approachable
• Ability to make tradeoffs across UX, engineering, business, and compliance
