Product Expert Formulation & Packaging Technologies

Responsibilities

• Provide deep R&D domain expertise in formulation and packaging processes to support digital product management
• Translate scientific processes, formulation science, and packaging data needs into functional digital requirements and user stories
• Act as a subject matter expert to validate that digital solutions are fit for purpose for formulation scientists and packaging technologists
• Support the digitization and harmonization of formulation development, ingredient data management, and packaging specifications
• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and vendors to shape solution designs and review prototypes
• Provide functional input for SAP S/4HANA IPD design to ensure alignment with R&D data models
• Support change management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and the development of training materials for new digital capabilities

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Packaging Technology, or a related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in R&D formulation and/or packaging roles within Life Sciences or Consumer Health
• Proven experience working with digital systems that support formulation, ingredients, or packaging
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific processes into technical system and data requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between science and technology teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA IPD for formulation and packaging management
• Exposure to ingredient and substance master data concepts
• Experience supporting digital transformation or large-scale system implementation programs in an R&D environment
• Familiarity with regulated (GxP) environments and associated documentation
• Experience working cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, and Supply teams
