Product Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between manufacturing and the customer to ensure all quality, regulatory, and product specifications are met.
• Lead the capture of customer requirements, determine BOM structures, and develop Product Control Plans.
• Define product ABI's and tooling strategies while ensuring manufacturing readiness through the APQP process.
• Serve as the technical expert for customer inquiries and lead design for manufacturability discussions.
• Conduct product-level improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and support root cause analysis for CAPA.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel and make critical decisions regarding rework versus scrap.
• Lead and develop the engineering team, focusing on coaching, succession planning, and upholding core values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of related professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of the APQP process.
• Proven experience in BOM structure determination and Product Control Plan development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Five (5) years of equivalent industry experience.
