Product Engineering Lead

About the Company

Andera is building reliable AI agents for back-office financial work, starting with automating audits for the world’s largest public companies. The engineering team consists of alumni from MIT, Berkeley, and Waterloo with experience at Jane Street, Stripe, Shopify, and Microsoft.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive workflows for reviewing complex financial data and AI agent output
• Translate Figma designs into polished, production-ready applications
• Build a new platform from the ground up, designing end-to-end features spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure
• Work directly with auditors to understand workflows and pain points
• Improve reliability, performance, and observability across the product
• Collaborate with AI and systems engineers to integrate agent capabilities into the UI
• Build the product team from the ground up

Requirements

• Strong fullstack engineering skills with an ownership mindset
• Ability to design and ship features end to end
• Understanding of how UI, backend, and data systems interact
• Deep empathy for users in complex domains
• Strong product and design sense
• Comfort operating in high-complexity systems involving large datasets and asynchronous workflows
• Experience with TypeScript, Python, Temporal, Docker, Terraform, or AWS Fargate
