Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design high voltage circuit breakers in accordance with industry standards and customer specifications
• Direct design activities through daily collaboration with R&D and drafting teams
• Translate customer specification requirements into accurate, production-ready Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Ensure design execution meets applicable IEEE, IEC, and ANSI standards as well as internal quality requirements
• Resolve design-related issues arising during manufacturing or post-delivery by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate design intent and manufacturability throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or an Electrical Engineering Technology degree
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Proficiency with SAP
• Willingness and ability to travel less than 15%
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with control circuits and/or circuit breaker design
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product testing, and/or substation design
• Familiarity with relevant IEEE, IEC, and ANSI standards
