Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build the platform that lets partners access PI's models, fine-tuning, remote inference, and related services
• Ingest partner data end to end from first sample to featurized, validated data and eval-ready checkpoints
• Deploy and serve partner models via remote inference endpoints at low latency in their environments
• Embed in partner engagements to debug deployments across the full stack and unblock partners
• Bridge research advances and real-world partner needs by translating failure modes back to researchers

Requirements

• Generalist software engineer with end-to-end ownership
• Strong backend and systems design
• Clean Python and infrastructure interfacing
• ML inference deployment and debugging
• Practical ownership mindset
• Clear communication with partners and researchers
• Comfort with ambiguity and on-site embedded work

Preferred Qualifications

• Founded or worked at an early-stage robotics, AV, or infrastructure startup
• Low-latency and real-time networking experience
• Experience with robot manipulation platforms, VLAs, or other ML models
• Familiarity with Python, Postgres, ClickHouse, GCP, Kubernetes, Modal, React, TypeScript
