Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and prototype new product iterations using AI-assisted and LLM-assisted tooling
• Ship production code, instrument it, and monitor usage
• Spend time with customers to understand workflows and pain points
• Reconcile user observations with data to drive product decisions
• Own product outcomes, metrics, and prioritization
• Weigh product impact against engineering effort to find efficient paths to outcomes
• Develop agentic experiences that move from manual operation to supervised delegation
• Maintain high craft standards for product speed, clarity, and feel
• Partner with Software Engineers on complex systems work

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping software in production
• Proven track record of taking features from idea to production
• Strong customer obsession and experience working directly with users
• High product taste and craft for user experiences
• Experience with rapid prototyping and AI-assisted development tools
• Solid full-stack engineering skills with a frontend lean
• Ability to operate with autonomy in ambiguous environments
• Strong analytical skills to define and act on metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping AI-assisted or agent-driven features
• Experience building B2B products for multi-persona or workflow-heavy environments
• Founder background or early employee experience at a scaling startup
• Domain knowledge in automotive, parts aftermarket, repair, or insurance claims
• Experience with marketplaces or networks
• Proficiency in Rust or eagerness to learn it
