Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with external and governmental bodies regarding product technical modifications and deadlines, ensuring transparency and ethical representation of company interests.
• Interpret and disseminate Brazilian automotive regulations to various Nissan Brazil departments and global sites (Japan, Mexico, etc.).
• Interact constantly with local Nissan Brazil teams and multicultural global teams across Japan, Mexico, and the USA.
• Support decision-making processes and maintain agility in fast-paced environments.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Production preferred).
• Extensive experience in automotive regulation, specifically regarding emissions, vehicle safety, and Rota 2030.
• Proven experience participating in external forums such as ANFAVEA or AEA.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills across all hierarchical levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle homologation processes.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI.
