Product Engineer (Mechanical)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource for customer inquiries regarding specifications, tolerances, materials, and CAD data
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate components or alternative sources
• Partner with customers and suppliers to investigate product defects and determine root causes
• Collaborate with global headquarters on technical escalations and product evaluations
• Review and improve e-commerce product pages for engineering accuracy
• Source components and obtain supplier quotes for custom customer requests
• Identify catalog expansion opportunities based on market demand
• Represent the company at trade shows and customer visits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years in product support engineering, applications engineering, or a similar technical role
• Strong working knowledge of 3D CAD software and GD&T principles
• Solid grasp of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Slack/Teams, and BI tools
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on familiarity with structural hardware, fasteners, framing systems, or automation components
• Experience with e-commerce catalog management
• International or cross-cultural work experience
