Responsibilities
- Build quality control software including inspection plans, first-article inspections, and factory acceptance test procedures
- Develop self-replanning factory schedules involving work orders, sequencing, and kitting
- Create continuous scoring systems for third-party integrators based on defect density and test rates
- Close corrective-action loops by tracing defects from the field back to design revisions and factory benches
- Embed with modular design engineers and factory operators to turn component lineage and test history into actionable data graphs
Requirements
- Experience shipping production code in Go, Python, or TypeScript
- Experience building features on LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models), MCP servers, and agentic frameworks
- Proficiency using AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor
- Ability to design and ship solutions autonomously without waiting for direction
- Experience working with domain experts to turn manual judgment into working software systems
- Strong product taste for creating intuitive interfaces and workflows for production environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MES or PLM systems
- Knowledge of inspection and test plans and factory acceptance testing
- Experience with NCR, corrective-action workflows, or BOM management
- Experience with scheduling and optimization problems
