Product Engineer, GTM Innovation

Responsibilities

• Build high-impact applications and tools that accelerate OpenAI’s go-to-market efforts
• Work across the full product lifecycle including prototyping, iterating, shipping, and maintaining
• Embed with Sales, Technical Success, and Revenue Operations to identify and build for user needs
• Apply OpenAI’s models in novel ways to solve real-world customer and internal workflow problems
• Translate field learnings into feedback for Applied and Research teams to inform product development

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software, ML, or product engineer working on user-facing systems
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript
• Experience building full-stack applications
• Experience building or prototyping LLM-powered workflows using the OpenAI API or similar technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Former founder or early-stage startup engineer who has built products from scratch
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to move quickly from prototype to production
• Experience shaping 0→1 products in a fast-paced environment
