Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, schematics, and prototypes based on product requirements
• Analyze current product offerings to improve quality, functionality, and cost-efficiency
• Identify product strengths and weaknesses and develop technical solutions
• Assist the product development team in maintaining schedules and budgets
• Liaise with sales and manufacturing departments to align specifications with corporate strategy
• Troubleshoot product malfunctions and failures to prevent future concerns
• Maintain accurate product development records and assist other engineers with projects

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent engineering technology diploma
• Knowledge of TS16949 requirements
• Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
• Ability to travel to the USA and international destinations
