Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, including product transfers and new product setup
• Analyze and customize technical documentation and customer Bill of Materials (BOM) for mass production
• Support production by resolving engineering issues and performing failure analysis
• Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Lead the implementation of Engineering Changes (ECO) and manage Product Change Notifications (PCN)
• Collaborate with design teams and customers to resolve technical issues and clarify engineering drawings
• Suggest process improvements to enhance quality, production yield, and cost reduction
• Provide technical training to manufacturing and process engineers

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Previous people management experience
• Advanced English proficiency
• Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
• Extensive knowledge of SMT, PTH, and PRESSFIT processes
• Proficiency with product lifecycle systems (Agile) and ERP systems (SAP/BAAN)
• Strong ability to create and interpret complex Bills of Materials (BOM)
