Product Engineer, Finance

Responsibilities

• Embed deeply with global Finance teams to identify and prioritize high-impact use cases
• Define and own the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for the Finance function
• Own technical delivery of solutions from initial prototype through to production
• Architect the Finance systems landscape by diagnosing gaps and designing target states
• Codify working patterns into reusable building blocks for the wider organization
• Lead change management and upskilling initiatives to drive adoption of new tools
• Track, measure, and communicate the business outcomes and impact of your work

Requirements

• 5+ years of software or forward deployed engineering experience
• Strong product sense with the ability to view engineering through a commercial lens
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to map technical specs from high-level direction
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient outcomes
• Clear communication skills to discuss technical trade-offs and present to executives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
• Hands-on experience building software leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, or automated agent workflows
• Background in top-tier management consulting, systems integration, or digital transformation
• Experience in fintech, payments, multi-currency ledgering, or regulated financial systems
• Familiarity with data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence tools
• Prior experience as a founder, founding engineer, or early employee
