About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned products across the full lifecycle including NPI, characterization, qualification, ramp, and sustaining
  • Drive yield analysis and improvement by monitoring wafer sort and final test yield
  • Manage multi-die yield stories including known-good-die (KGD) sorting and die-matching
  • Optimize test program quality across wafer sort, final test, and system-level test (SLT)
  • Lead silicon characterization across PVT corners and define spec limits
  • Own product qualification and reliability sign-off in line with JEDEC standards
  • Establish production operations including lot dispositioning, capacity, and WIP management
  • Monitor production data using SPC and statistical analysis to detect excursions
  • Lead excursion management and 8D/CAPA to resolve manufacturing and quality issues
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives across test time, yield, and materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Materials/Semiconductor Engineering, or related field
  • Hands-on experience in semiconductor product engineering, test engineering, or operations
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flow (wafer fab, sort, assembly, final test)
  • Experience with multi-die/advanced-package product engineering and KGD sorting
  • Experience managing foundry and OSAT relationships
  • Proficiency with ATE platforms such as Advantest or Teradyne
  • Solid grounding in yield analysis and statistics using JMP or Python
  • Knowledge of product qualification and reliability methodologies (JEDEC)
  • Familiarity with DFT concepts including scan, MBIST, and ATPG
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies like 8D or CAPA
