Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop new products with specific schedules and test plans to ensure designs meet safety, quality, performance, and economic standards.
• Identify design-related cost reduction opportunities and implement required qualification test plans.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure proper fit and alignment using various tolerance stack-up methods.
• Manage New Product Development (NPD) reporting, including organizing weekly meetings and preparing technical presentations.
• Work with Design Engineers to define required geometry for critical components and establish part development processes.
• Coordinate with Reliability, Compressor Lab, and Technical Service teams to perform parts analysis and reliability qualification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven technical knowledge and skills in mechanical design.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in compressor design.
• Strong background knowledge of refrigeration systems.
