Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop new products with specific schedules and test plans to ensure designs meet safety, quality, performance, and economic standards
• Identify design-related cost reduction opportunities and implement required qualification plans
• Collaborate with designers to ensure proper fit and alignment using various tolerance stack-up methods
• Organize weekly meetings and prepare presentations to review New Product Design (NPD) topics
• Work with Design Engineers to define technical requirements and component geometry
• Establish and verify parts development processes, including prototype preparation and reliability testing
• Coordinate with reliability teams, compressor labs, and technical service experts for parts analysis and testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven technical knowledge and skills in mechanical design
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Proficiency in both verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in compressor design
• Strong background knowledge of refrigeration systems
