Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Direct and conduct thermal comfort testing per customer specifications using specialized lab equipment.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain test instrumentation including thermocouples, airflow equipment, FLIR thermal cameras, and thermal manikins.
• Utilize data acquisition systems to collect, process, and interpret complex test data.
• Support thermal comfort testing and analysis for both prototype and production builds.
• Complete necessary testing documentation, including calibration sheets, data sheets, and detailed test reports.
• Use the Global Lab Information System (gLIMs) to manage test data and upload findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions for thermal comfort challenges.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace following 5S standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-5 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of design for assembly and manufacturing principles.
• Ability to communicate complex technical data to both technical and non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with automotive seating products.
• Fundamental knowledge of airflow and thermal comfort principles.
