Product Director - Data Governance, Chief Data & Analytics Office

Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and multi-year roadmap for enterprise data governance and AI-enabled data management capabilities.
• Lead end-to-end product delivery from discovery and requirements through production rollout and measurable adoption.
• Design self-service governance features and APIs that promote interoperability and consistent data standards.
• Drive implementation of metadata management, data cataloging, data lineage, and data quality controls.
• Partner with risk, compliance, and control stakeholders to embed privacy and auditability across the product lifecycle.
• Coach product teams on customer discovery, prototyping, and adoption strategies.
• Own product performance through OKRs and KPIs to drive investment and prioritization decisions.

Requirements

• Extensive enterprise product management experience delivering platforms in large, complex organizations.
• Strong technical foundation in data modeling with the ability to engage on design trade-offs with engineers.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI builder tooling (e.g., Claude, Copilot, GPT) and responsible AI workflows.
• Proven experience delivering data governance or management capabilities (metadata, catalog, lineage) at scale.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI-enabled product capabilities in a governed environment.
• Strong stakeholder leadership skills with the ability to align business, technology, and control partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building products in financial services or highly regulated environments.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and design.
