Product Development Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of drug delivery systems at both laboratory and production scales
• Support Formulation Scientists in laboratory and manufacturing activities
• Maintain formulation laboratory and manufacturing areas to required standards
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and follow written SOPs
• Perform calibration and qualification of equipment
• Maintain quality systems within the department and communicate effectively with other departments

Requirements

• Education to GCSE level or equivalent
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle stressful situations
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Preferred Qualifications

• A level qualification
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment
• Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry
