About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and test adhesive formulations in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with chemists, scientists, and technical staff on product development.
  • Follow work instructions and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for sample preparation and testing.
  • Accurately document test data in laboratory information systems and write test reports.
  • Maintain calibration of laboratory instruments and ensure a clean, organized laboratory environment.
  • Utilize various curing and dispensing equipment while adhering to safety practices and PPE requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related science field.
  • Ability to gather, understand, and interpret chemical, physical, and mechanical data.
  • Understanding of mathematical and statistical techniques relevant to product testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, science, or engineering.
  • Experience or knowledge using JMP statistical analysis software.
