Product Development Scientist

Responsibilities

• Handle color formulation projects from lab bench level through to commercialization
• Act as a technical advisor to internal stakeholders and external customers
• Manage development projects from conception through launch using defined processes
• Maintain technical documentation, product specifications, and process specifications
• Support production with upscaling, troubleshooting, and interpreting food safety regulations
• Provide training for QC and production personnel on new formulations and analytical methods
• Conduct in-person consultations with customers at their facilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
• MSc with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Ph.D. in a related field
• Strong experience in project management and stakeholder management
• Deep knowledge of food ingredients and processing
• Experience with customer interaction and driving technical projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent color vision (Color Vision Testing Required)
