Product Development Scientist II

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations across various product categories
• Support end-to-end product development from initial concept to commercialization
• Conduct laboratory testing, stability studies, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Regulatory, and Manufacturing
• Troubleshoot formulation or process issues and propose effective technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Document technical data, reports, and development progress

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related scientific field
• 3-5 years of experience in cosmetic product development
• Technical knowledge of emulsions, surfactants, fragrances, colors, or aerosols
• Proven experience within the beauty, personal care, or FMCG industries
• Expertise in laboratory testing and stability studies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working effectively within cross-functional team environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
