Product Development Manager - Wovens

Responsibilities

• Partner cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, Raw Materials, and Merchandising to build high-quality, sustainable products
• Ensure products are developed on time and to design intent, providing creative solutions for construction and costing
• Manage external supplier relationships via email and phone
• Own initial costing, time and action calendars, and final BOMs within the PLM system
• Manage seasonal development milestones, lab dip approvals, trim approvals, and sample yardage tracking
• Partner with Raw Materials and Sourcing to ensure proper factory and mill allocation and sustainability targets
• Communicate with planning and merchandising teams regarding late deliveries or shipment issues
• Coach and mentor team members through influence

Requirements

• 5+ years of product development experience in woven apparel
• Experience with outerwear is a plus
• Intermediate knowledge of PLM, Google Sheets, and Airtable
• Strong cost negotiation and time management skills
• Ability to travel overseas and work with diverse cultures
• Knowledge of wet and dry processing is ideal
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
