Product Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development from brainstorm phase through mass production
• Define, develop, and iterate product specifications based on consumer needs and market white space
• Take ownership of category sales performance and recommend new product opportunities
• Conduct competitive product analyses to maintain market leadership
• Act as the voice of legacy product lines to ensure feedback is incorporated into next-generation products
• Partner with Testing and Quality organizations to manage performance testing procedures
• Serve as the product expert for cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, or human factors engineering
• Experience in the consumer goods industry preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong project management and prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Needham, MA
