About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical function of new business development and new product introduction
- Interpret technical specifications and translate them into technical-commercial proposals
- Define go-to-market strategies and value propositions for new products
- Drive next-generation product development from ideation through industrialization
- Provide technical support to sales and applications groups for customer presentations and technical reviews
- Collaborate with global operations to coordinate product industrialization and production launches
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of transportation product engineering experience in applications, development, or testing
- Expertise in developing engineered transportation products for OEMs, Tier One, and Tier Two suppliers
- Experience in thermal and acoustics using metals, fibers, polymers, and molding/stamping processes
- Experience in EV battery thermal protection and insulation materials
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of thermal and acoustical physics
- Demonstrated success in implementing new product strategies
- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset
