Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new R&D led projects, including New Product Introduction (NPI), within the manufacturing plant.
• Manage product-specific projects, including regular updates on milestones, activities, and status.
• Write validation protocols for trials, coordinate and execute trials, and author protocol trial reports.
• Manage product, process, and supplier changes that impact manufacturing in Castlebar.
• Oversee project administration and ensure strict compliance with project plans.
• Coordinate Value Improvement Processes (VIPs) and assist with Project EMS boards.
• Utilize analytical thinking and established tools for troubleshooting and investigation management.
• Help develop best practices for product development procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Science (Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology).
• Strong relevant experience within the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally across different plant functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to be clear and concise.
