About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the codebase for Automated Fastening Systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Design and implement new software features in collaboration with Product Management and Sales
- Build prototype systems and perform real-world testing and validation
- Troubleshoot software and electrical system issues to support Plant Operations and Field Services
- Analyze large datasets from machine measurements, process logs, and sensor data to uncover actionable insights
- Write comprehensive test plans to guarantee system quality and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 2–3 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Object-Oriented programming skills in C#/C++, C, or similar languages
- Experience programming embedded systems within Linux environments
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in industrial automation or mechatronics
- Familiarity with industrial networks such as DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, or Profinet
- Experience with full-stack web application development
