About the role
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement efficient manufacturing test processes for state-of-the-art processors
- Identify and implement test processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and test coverage for CPU architectures and Automotive chips
- Analyze product yield limiters and drive Vmin/Fmax optimization (speed binning)
- Lead multi-functional efforts with design, foundry, quality, and test teams to root-cause problems
- Define product test requirements and drive NPI bring up, validation, characterization, and reliability qualification (e.g., AEC-Q100)
- Optimize test coverage to achieve automotive "Zero-Defect" screening requirements and reduce cost
- Correlate field/customer failures with internal production data to understand root cause and risk
Requirements
- Master or above degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics
- 2+ years of experience in post-silicon characterization, correlation, qualification (including HTOL testing), and debug
- Knowledge of ATE testing, DFT methodology, and CMOS device physics
- Familiarity with CPU architecture fundamentals (cache hierarchies, coherency fabrics, multi-core power management) or automotive high-reliability product lifecycles
- Strong technical communication and methodical problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of DFT insertion techniques including SCAN, ATPG, MBIST, and LBIST
- Knowledge of Automotive Semiconductor Quality Standards (AEC-Q100, ISO 26262 Functional Safety)
- Proficiency with JMP data analytic tools or scripting languages like Python/Java for large-scale test data evaluation
- Experience with ATE test systems such as 93K or uflex for complex SoC/CPU bring-up
