Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with Design Engineering to run pre-silicon simulations to validate test strategies and Design for Test circuits
• Modify test programs for specific product requirements to ensure silicon performance meets expectations
• Support Test Engineering with program debug, data analysis, and test development
• Perform hands-on bench testing of products to isolate issues and develop new tests
• Debug and identify root causes for failures using electrical and physical analysis results
• Supervise yields to ensure they meet projections and investigate root causes for deviations
• Develop tools to improve processes and innovate optimized test strategies and features

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar product engineering role
• Experience in digital circuit design and ASIC testing using scan tools
• Proficiency in Python and C programming
• Experience with custom BIST APG programming for memory testing
• Proficiency with the Linux operating system

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high volume production data extraction and analysis using JMP or Python
• Hands-on experience with bench testing engineering hardware and Integrated Circuits
• Experience in circuit simulations using Spice and Verilog
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes
