Product Development Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Provide HVAC engineering insight and improvement solutions for new product development
• Screen, analyze, and support new HVAC product performance to provide actionable recommendations
• Statistically evaluate and interpret collected product and field-based testing data
• Review design shortcomings and faults to pinpoint weaknesses and areas for improvement
• Communicate with HVAC R&D and factory laboratories to provide US usage-based engineering statistics
• Support the acquisition of hardware and software to create lab-purpose acquisition models
• Assist in the preparation of service, installation, and engineering manuals for US commercialization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software and interpreting drawings with GD&T knowledge
• High-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros for programming
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the HVAC industry
• Exposure to various manufacturing processes and designing for manufacturability
• Experience with agency certifications such as CSA, UL, or DOE
