Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test solutions for next-generation AMD products, including silicon bring-up and post-silicon ownership.
• Build and maintain test infrastructure for New Product Introduction (NPI) phases.
• Develop and execute characterization and test coverage strategies during pre-silicon phases.
• Perform device characterization and circuit sensitivity analysis to root-cause failures.
• Optimize test contents and product margins to meet business goals and cost targets during the production phase.
• Interface with global engineering teams to resolve device failures and drive design verification deliveries.
• Utilize or create Agentic AI solutions to enhance engineering productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Extensive experience in end-to-end ATE Test Program development, validation, and debug (Pre and Post Silicon).
• Strong understanding of DFT and ATE test methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Perl, C++, or Ruby.
• Experience using Git and Atlassian tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the full product life cycle for multiple products.
• Strong ATE and test class/method development experience, specifically with Advantest 93k.
• Knowledge of ATE Hardware (DIB) Design Guidelines.
