Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Study and apply BIOS and OS level power management features to resolve efficiency and performance issues on AMD EPYC™ server platforms.
• Debug and optimize I/O bandwidth and latency in PCIe rich server systems involving storage, networking, and accelerator subsystems.
• Drive core performance optimization in cloud and datacenter environments, addressing CPU utilization, scheduling, and scalability.
• Work closely with customers to diagnose system-level performance issues and translate findings into actionable guidance.
• Enable customers through technical workshops, training sessions, and ongoing engineering engagements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to perform root cause analysis and influence future product direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 6+ years of experience in server platform performance and power optimization, preferably in datacenter or enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of server architecture, including CPU, memory, PCIe, storage, and networking subsystems.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with server efficiency benchmarks such as BenchSEE, SPECpower, or SPECsert.
• Practical experience analyzing and optimizing system- and application-level performance in cloud environments.
• Experience debugging performance bottlenecks across BIOS, OS, and system configuration layers.
• Ability to independently drive complex technical investigations in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
