Product Development Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support Retail, Private Label, Club Store, and internal product development projects from initial request through commercialization
• Gather, organize, and maintain project information including customer requirements, product specifications, and timelines
• Maintain project timelines, sample logs, shared files, and project trackers
• Support innovation and renovation projects through research, sample coordination, and vendor follow-up
• Assist with research on market trends, competitive products, ingredients, and packaging
• Coordinate product samples with vendors and internal teams
• Work with existing suppliers and assist in identifying potential new manufacturers and ingredient suppliers
• Partner with Sales, Quality, Purchasing, and Product Development teams to ensure projects remain on track
• Help maintain internal processes, forms, and operating procedures

Requirements

• Experience in food product development, project coordination, or sourcing preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Business, or Supply Chain preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Basic understanding of food safety, quality, labeling, or cost models preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
