About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end product trial projects, including planning, raw material preparation, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to customize activity content based on specific requirements and challenges.
- Oversee pilot plant operations, including sample analysis, material management, and lab management.
- Facilitate the transition of pilot plant experiments to scaled-up industrial manufacturing processes.
- Handle administrative and operational tasks such as contracts, invoicing, procurement, and material purchasing.
- Support daily PDC management, focusing on on-site safety, product quality, and customer experience.
Requirements
- University degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of proven professional experience.
- Extensive experience in processing areas or managing process-driven/technology-driven projects.
- Proven ability to up-scale pilot plant experiments to industrial-scale production.
- Native-level Japanese language skills and business-level English language skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management and process development.
- Technical assessment expertise regarding process conditions.
- Basic understanding of the nutritional industry and ingredients.
