Product Development Associate

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap from ideation to final production for ecommerce and retail channels
• Conduct market analysis and competitive research within the CPG and natural cleaning space
• Manage product costing, project budgets, and margin targets
• Develop unique product concepts and lead rapid NPD sprint initiatives
• Lead formulation and packaging selection, managing relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
• Ensure regulatory compliance with EPA, Safer Choice, and EWG standards
• Manage detailed project timelines and oversee the commercialization process
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Brand, Operations, Regulatory, and Creative teams

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of experience in Product Development, Operations, Buying, or R&D within CPG
• Proven track record of launching products from concept to market
• Experience with cleaning, household goods, or beauty/personal care products
• Knowledge of packaging development and sustainable material selection
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage complex timelines
• Technical understanding of ingredient function and stability testing
• Analytical thinking to translate market data into profitable product strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with natural or plant-based formulations
• Experience working with B Corp certified brands
• Familiarity with retailer requirements for Walmart, Target, or Amazon Vendor Central
• PMP certification
