About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Design as a technical collaborator, attending fittings and guiding feasibility to bring the creative vision to life in Knitwear.
  • Lead end-to-end development of knitwear styles, ensuring samples and prototypes are delivered on time, to quality standards, and within cost targets.
  • Own and manage the critical path from concept to pre-production, proactively identifying risks and driving solutions to maintain delivery timelines.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with vendors across Europe and Asia, aligning capability, cost, and quality while protecting design intent.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of PLM data, communicating changes clearly to cross-functional partners.
  • Support and coach Product Development Assistants, sharing knowledge and encouraging continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in knitwear product development, including a deep understanding of construction, materials, and fit.
  • Proven experience managing complex critical paths and vendor relationships across international supply bases.
  • Ability to translate creative design ideas into commercially viable, high-quality products.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance creativity, cost, and margin throughout the development process.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and cultures.
  • Highly organized and proactive with a problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
