Product Developer Childrenswear

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Design team to translate creative visions into technically feasible products, attending fittings and providing expert feedback.
• Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including negotiating costs and aesthetic changes to maintain design integrity.
• Implement and manage the critical path from concept to pre-production, ensuring all deadlines are met and risks are mitigated.
• Deliver prototypes and samples on time, meeting strict quality standards and target margin requirements.
• Ensure product functionality, consistency, and standardization through ongoing risk assessment and collaboration with Product Engineering.
• Maintain 100% accuracy within the PLM system.
• Support and coach Product Development Assistants.

Requirements

• Proven technical capability in fashion product development and deep product knowledge.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and delivering clear technical briefs.
• Strong critical path management skills to ensure timely collection delivery.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and understand product costing.
• Proficiency in PLM, Excel, and InDesign.
• In-depth knowledge of luxury fashion trends, the market, and the luxury consumer.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with cross-functional teams.
